Why this website ?

I am not a collector, even though I still own a few of the old computers described here. Considerably more of these computers - however not all of those described here - I happened to possess and use at some time in my life. Many computers I remember only because I have conserved a technical handbook or a marketing folder of them.

Why at all:
I have built up this website in order to keep my memories alive and at the same time I want to give others the opportunity to inform themselves about ancient PC families, especially the Japanese ones, because until now much of this information can be found only in Japanese websites, if in any.

Language of this website:
This is primarily a German website, additionally I plan to build up an English version and an international one in Esperanto. However this will take some time, because in the moment I don't have much time for this.

Why just German ?
German is the most widely spoken language inside the European Union, and it is my mother tongue (besides Swabian :-).

Why just English ?
Because not all Chinese do have internet access so far, currently the language of the anglophone countries is the most spread one in the internet.

And why Esperanto ?
Esperanto is the only truly international language, and also the only one of which I believe that it can be correctly learnt.
